Remember way back in October when I went on that super secret & romantic surprise session? I couldn’t wait to share the details and now I finally can! 🙂
My dear friend Christy’s parents will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in May. Each month leading up to their anniversary Christy and her brother planned a special gift. Our super secret session was their gift for October… an anniversary portrait session. Christy planned the whole surprise so perfectly… it was so exciting and fun to be a part of!
When Mr & Mrs M checked into their hotel for a long weekend in Newport, RI the concierge gave them an envelope…inside was an invitation to go to Saint Mary’s church in beautiful downtown Newport at a specific time and date, and their October surprise (me!) would be waiting for them there. When they came walking up the to the church, I was so excited but also really nervous! I’d never met them and had no idea how this was going to go! Well… it was amazing! An absolute delight. Mr & Mrs M were so happily surprised and  it shows in the photos… they literally couldn’t stop smiling the entire time! Neither could I, throughout the session, the whole way home, and even now just thinking about it all!
Mr & Mrs M- Happiest Anniversary to you! It was so wonderful beyond words to finally meet you and be a part of this special gift. You two have what most of us dream of and hope for!

Lauren we were so pleased and excited to meet you as Christy always has spoken highly of you. Now we know why! We had a terrific time and the pictures turned out beautifully! The kids gave us the photos for our November gift by sending us on a scavenger hunt all over the house and outside!
